Compensation Philosophy

Laurel Ridge recognizes the expectations for service within our community are high, and we believe they are necessary to meet the needs of the citizens and students of our community.

2024-25 Compensation Structure

Laurel Ridge utilizes compensation structures in coordination with the Department of Human Resources pay bands and the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) pay schedules. To build on our transparency in compensation, Laurel Ridge is in the process of implementing sub-bands in the DHRM salary structure. These sub-bands will be introduced and communicated this winter.
