As part of our continued commitment to Simply the Best initiatives, HR is excited to announce the launch of a new Onboarding Survey beginning in July 2025.
Over the past year, HR conducted an in-depth review of our onboarding and orientation processes for both new employees and their managers. This comprehensive effort aimed to ensure that our resources support a smooth and meaningful transition into our college community.
Why Onboarding Matters
Employee onboarding is more than just the first few days of training—it is a process designed to help new hires integrate into their roles, understand our culture, and feel connected to the college community. Through effective onboarding, we strive to:

About the Survey
The new Onboarding Survey is one of the ways we will assess how well we are meeting these goals. Key details include:

Purpose: To evaluate whether onboarding resources are being effectively used and whether new employees feel welcomed and included

Timing: New employees will receive an invitation to participate in the survey between 6 to 9 months after their hire date

Usage of Results: Survey data will be aggregated and analyzed annually to identify trends and opportunities for improvement across the employee onboarding experience. Employees may submit the survey anonymously if they choose.
