• Getting into a Canvas Course

Do I need to complete the MandatoryTraining?
Yes, all new students must complete the Mandatory Training. Once completed, your courses will appear in Canvas:

• Training completed during the day: Courses will appear within a couple of hours.
• Training completed in the evening: Courses will appear by the next morning.

If you have completed the training and still do not have access to your courses, please submit a support ticket for assistance.

Need Help Accessing Your Books?
For assistance with accessing your books, please visit https://www.mecc.edu/mecc-bookstore-2. Unfortunately, the MECC Helpdesk is unable to assist with eBook access, so be sure to reach out to the bookstore for support.

Users will use their full VCCS email address as the username (example: jy60@email.vccs.edu) and their MyMecc password to log into Office 365 site (office.vccs.edu.) If the Office 365 login is not successful then please reset your MyMecc Password. Once the user resets his/her MyMecc password it will SYNC the password to work with the Office 365 Login.

• If you need to reset your MyMECC password, click here to be taken to the MyMECC portal.
  • Enter your "Username" and then press "GO"

• Statement of Compliance Concerning Password Resets of the MyMECC

  According to FERPA standards §99.31 Identification and Authentication of Identity,  a student requesting their username either by phone, chat, or other remote means must provide required information to prove identity.

Student Email Accounts are not active until a student has enrolled in a class.

If SIS does not work; then user should RESET the MyMECC Password which will SYNC the systems. It takes up to a few hours for the systems to SYNC.
