Human Capital Management System
HCM is our Human Capital Management system.
HCM is a PeopleSoft Application used to manage several necessary HR functions such as storing employee data, job/position data, documenting and approving time/absence/leave, reporting/analytics, and using employee self-service.
Key Features and Benefits
Maintain Employee/Job Data
HCM stores all personal employee information, job data including dates, compensation, role, etc.
Employee Self-Service
Employees are able to enter hours worked directly into timesheets, request leave of absence, update their personal data directly in Employee Self- Service.
Leave/Absence
Supervisors or Administrators can approve direct reports' time, leave/absence. TLAM manages employees' time and absences. They ensure leave is properly accrued and payable time is approved.
Reporting/Analytics
HCM has multiple reporting tools so we can generate queries and reports to gather and analyze information stored in HCM.
Getting Started
HCV is available to all our faculty, staff via My VCCS. You can use your My VCCS Username and Password to log into HCM especially for Employee Self-Service.
Getting Help
If you need assistance with running a specific report or query you can submit a TeamDynamix Ticket. If you have questions regarding data validation or if you believe there is an error with your personal/job data, you can contact the SSC Onboarding Team or the HR Team for assistance.

Multiple Reporting Tools are available in HCM. Business Analysts are available to assist you with generating and understanding the available queries and reports that can be run with the data stored within HCV.
Availability
HCM should be available 24/7. It is available through your My VCCS.
