Supervisor: Notifying HR of an Employee Separation

ACTION REQUIRED: To notify HR of an employee separation, please submit a ticket using the service link below and upload the written resignation or retirement notice within one (1) business day of receipt.

Upon receiving notice of an employee's separation, supervisors should notify HR.   Start by telling the employee how much you appreciate their work.  Ask why they are leaving and what you could have done better as manager and what you can do to improve the college going forward.  You never know what insight that can provide you and other managers at the college going forward.  Congratulate the employee on the next chapter of their professional journey.
