AIS: 9.2 Adminstrative Information System (AIS)

Who can use it?

VCCS Faculty and Staff with financial service needs.

What is it?

AIS is the acronym for Administrative information System, VCCS’s enterprise application for storing and maintaining financial data.  This application contains multiple modules, with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Asset Management, Purchasing, Grants, Project Costing, and Cash Management.

Where can I access training videos?

There are 40 videos detailing the differences between AIS 9.1 and AIS 9.2.  These videos are broken into short segments to allow staff to view only those actions required to accomplish a specific task. The link is:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCh8F8VzbOreX_0G77sR2sDg/playlists

Where can I access AIS 9.2?

AIS is accessed through VPN, signing into AIS 9.2 will be through MyVCCS with your MyVCCS credentials. Please note: All processes are running for the first time, the system may be slow, please be patient.

Helpful Tips:

          1.  There are no Control Groups in AIS 9.2. - There are videos detailing the new process

          2. Approvals now occur through Workflow - Familiarize yourself with the various approval videos to understand how these work

          3. Reports can be found in Report Manager.
