Last Day Worked may differ from Separation Effective Date
An employee's last day worked is the last day expected to be working. Some employees may request to use leave leading up to the separation date, which is subject to the supervisor's approval. The separation date will be the official effective date for state employment and benefits purposes. The last day worked may be helpful in determining security access and collecting college belongings.
