Overview

Canvas is a Learning Management System (LMS) that is available to all faculty, staff and current students via MyBrightpointand directly at learn.vccs.edu. Your MyBrightpoint username and password is required to login to Canvas.  The recommended browsers for Canvas are Firefox and Chrome.

Canvas Support

Important Canvas services you should know about:

• Canvas offers 24/7 phone support for students. You can call Canvas directly at 877-875-8359 to ask questions, get help, etc. You can always access this number (and other help features) through your Canvas Dashboard panel on the left hand side of your page.  Click on the question mark icon (?) at the bottom and view the list of help features.
• Canvas offers 24/7 Live Chat Support for students. You can also access support online via the live chat feature.
• You can "Search the Canvas Guides." Inside the Canvas Community (and searchable through Google), you can access online student guides that will make your life easier as a student.

Canvas App

Download the Canvas App. Canvas has an app for students, which can be downloaded to iOS and Android  phones and tablets. This app can help you keep track of coursework, assignment dates, grades, and so forth. It’s an easy way to interact with the course. If you are a regular user of your phone or tablet, you will definitely benefit from downloading the App. To download, you can follow the the Canvas guide on "using a mobile device as a student"
