What are groups?
The primary reasons groups are created are for assignment of work, like tickets, and visibility on certain items, such as Services and Knowledge base Articles. Groups are created in TDAdmin by administrators.
What is the group creation process?
TeamDynamix groups will be created based on the organizational structure to keep work within managed teams. ITS will move away from cross-functional groups due to reporting and ticket responsibility.
Ticket groups - will be named using organizational hierarchy acronyms, e.g.
- SO = System Office
- ITS = Information Technology Services
For System Office non-IT related groups the prefix of SO will still be used.
