Contact your instructor with any Canvas issues.
Users will use their full VCCS email address as the username (example: jy60@email.vccs.edu) and their MyMecc password to log into Office 365 site (office.vccs.edu.) If the Office 365 login is not successful then please reset your MyMecc Password. Once the user resets his/her MyMecc password it will SYNC the password to work with the Office 365 Login.

Statement of Compliance Concerning Password Resets of the MyMECC
According to FERPA standards ยง99.31 Identification and Authentication of Identity, a student requesting their username either by phone, chat, or other remote means must provide required information to prove identity.
Student Email Accounts are not active until a student has enrolled in a class.
If SIS does not work; then user should RESET the MyMECC Password which will SYNC the systems. It takes up to a few hours for the systems to SYNC.
Tutoring or Tutor.com
Students can access free tutoring from two sources. One source is in-person or online from MECC's Learning Center. on the 2nd floor of Godwin Hall (G216). To apply for free tutoring, complete the application here: Mountain Empire Community College Student Support Services Application Survey (surveymonkey.com)
The other source is free online tutoring with Tutor.com, available 24 hours a day. Students can access Tutor.com from inside every course Canvas site. Each student has time allotted to their own account.
