VCL: Virtual Computing Lab


The Virtual Computing Lab (VCL) is an initiative designed to provide 24x7 access to computing resources from any location, using nearly any available online device. Computers and software tools are available to faculty, staff, and students through the VCL portal, on demand, allowing users to request immediate access to resources or to schedule access at a later time.


VCL Instructions

The Virtual Computing Lab is available at https://www.vcl.vccs.edu/ and through myVPCC/myVCCS.  Please login using your myVPCC credentials and follow the instructions below to make a reservation.

  • From Windows: 

  • From MacOS

  • From an iPad

  • For Chromebook

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • If you experience any lag or connectivity issues, ensure you have a stable Internet connection.
  • Always save your work regularly to prevent any data loss during your VM session.
  • If a specific VM isn't functioning as expected, try restarting it or switching to another available VM.
