Connect to VPCC Campus Wi-Fi

Overview 

VPCC Wi-Fi provides campus-wide internet access to all faculty, staff, students, and guests.

Eduroam (short for "education roaming") is a secure wireless service available at participating institutions worldwide, allowing visiting faculty, staff, and students from other colleges to connect seamlessly.

Available Networks

Instructions for Students, Faculty, and Staff 

A. Connect to MyVCCS  (iOS Devices / Students, Faculty & Staff) 

1. Open your device’s Wi-Fi settings.

2. Select the MyVCCS network.

3. Enter your MyVCCS username and password.

4. Tap Join / Connect.

B. Connect to VPCC-Staff Network (Android & Chrome Devices / Faculty & Staff) 

1. Open your device’s Wi-Fi settings and select VPCC-Staff.

2. Configure the following settings:

   • EAP method: PEAP

   • Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPv2

   • CA Certificate: Do not validate / Do not check

3. If your device does not show the above option:

   • CA Certificate: Use system certificates

   • Minimum TLS Version: TLS v1.0

   • Online Certificate Status: Do not verify

4. Enter vpcc.edu for Domain.

5. Enter your VPCC identity (VPCC username) and password.

6. Tap Connect / Join to join the network.

C. Connect to VPCC-Staff (iOS Devices / Faculty & Staff) 

1. Open your device’s Wi-Fi settings.

2. Select VPCC-Staff.

3. Enter your VPCC username and password.

4. Tap Join.

D. Connect to MyVCCS Network (Android & Chrome Devices / Students, Faculty & Staff) 

1. Open your device’s Wi-Fi settings and select myVCCS.

2. Configure the following settings:

   • EAP method: PEAP

   • Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPv2

   • CA Certificate: Do not validate / Do not check

3. If your device does not show the above option:

   • CA Certificate: Use system certificates

   • Minimum TLS Version: TLS v1.0

   • Online Certificate Status: Do not verify

4. Enter vccs.edu for Domain.

5. Enter your myVCCS identity ( myVCCS username) and password.

6. Tap Connect / Join to join the network.

E. Connect to Gator Guest Wi-Fi (Guests) Instructions

1. Open your device’s Wi-Fi settings and select Gator Guest.

2. Enter your name and email address in the required fields.

3. Accept the Terms of Service and tap Send Access Code.

4. Check your email for the access code sent from Juniper Mist.

   • Note: The code expires in 10 minutes.

5. Enter the access code to connect.

6. If you do not receive the code, select “I did not receive the code” to request a new one.
