Your Email Address & Password

The Human Resources Office should provide you with your email address and password as part of the employee onboarding process. It should follow the format of first initial + last name @pvcc.edu e.g. ASmith@pvcc.edu, and is not case-sensitive. After signing in with the provided password, you will be required to create a new password.

When creating or changing your password, you must follow the PVCC Password Requirements:

  • Minimum 14 characters long
  • Must contain at least 3 of the following categories:
    • Uppercase letters: A-Z
    • Lowercase letters: a-z
    • Numbers: 0-9
    • Special characters: ~`!@#$%^&*()-_+={}[]|\;:"<>,./?

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

PVCC requires the use of multi-factor, or two-step, authentication (MFA), which adds an extra layer of security by requiring users to provide two or more forms of identification before accessing their account. For more information and instructions on how to set up MFA, see this article
