How To Configure Pictograph Multifactor Authentication (MFA)

Step 1
From a PC visit
MyMECC
. On the portal you will be presented with the login screens as usual.
Enter your MyMECC username and click “
Go
”
Then enter your password.
Step 2
You will be presented with a Pictograph Authentication screen (picture below).
You are required to set up Pictograph Authentication before moving forward.
You will need to select a picture to use your identifying picture.
Make sure to remember this picture, as you will need to select if for future logins.
I have chosen a basketball as my image as indicated by #1 in the example below. You can rotate through different images by pressing the button at #2 in the image below.
Step 3
After choosing your image, you will be presented with the image below. This step verifies the image you have selected. Make sure to remember this picture, as you will need to select it for future logins.
In the image below, you can see the confirmation of the image of a basketball I chose earlier.
Click “
GO”
You will then be logged into
MyMECC
. Configuration of Pictograph Authentication is now completed. Continue to step 4 for further instructions.
Step 4
After Pictograph Authentication has been configured, you will need to verify your secret image each time you log on to
MyMECC
.
After entering your MyMECC username and password, you will be presented with the screen below. Simply choose your secret image out of those displayed on the screen and you will be granted access to your MyMECC account.
In the example below, I would choose the basketball since this is the image I chose when setting up Pictograph Authentication.
Step 5
If you encounter any issues setting up Pictograph Authentication or forget your secret image,
