Computers are provided in public areas like the EZ Zone, some classrooms, the Library, the Open Lab, and some public areas for student use.

Administration

Student/Classroom/Lab Computers computers are managed by Technology Services. 

Key function

Student/Classroom/Lab Computers computers are provided for educational and instructional use. The Library also provides access to the general public. Users agree to State, VCCS, and BRCC Acceptable Use policies. 

Integration

Student/Classroom/Lab Computers computers authenticate to VCCS accounts with EAD. 

Getting Started

Student/Classroom/Lab Computers computers require a VCCS login: the same credentials used to access MyBRCC. These computers are wiped after a restart, which happens at regular intervals throughout the day. Make sure to save your work often, either to a USB drive, or a cloud service like Google Drive or One Drive.

Use the buttons on the top right of this page to request support, report broken or malfunctioning computers, or to request software for class use. For immediate support, please call the Help Desk at 540-453-2400, or 602400 from a campus phone.
