Purpose
This article is to help new users get started with Jabber
Before Getting Started
Make sure you have Requested Jabber and someone from BRCC Technology Services has installed it for you.
Assumptions
You are a BRCC employee with Jabber access and the Jabber application installed.
Steps
Getting Started with Cisco Jabber:
1. Please click here to request access to Jabber.
2. Open Jabber on your desktop, If you need the software installed on your laptop, please call the Help Desk at 540.453.2400.
3. Sign in with your MyBRCCusername@vccs.edu.
4. Remove @vccs.edu and enter your MyBRCC password.
