Microsoft 365 Access for Adjunct Faculty

Adjunct faculty members and part time staff at Reynolds are required to use their (@email.vccs.edu) email addresses to access Microsoft 365 applications. This policy ensures secure and streamlined access to essential Microsoft tools for all faculty members. Please note that you no longer will be able to access office 365 license with your Reynolds account (@reynolds.edu email)

Accessing Microsoft 365 via browser

To access Microsoft 365 apps, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://portal.office.com/
  2. Enter your full @email.vccs.edu email address as your username
  3. Use your MyReynolds (MyVCCS) password to log in

Account Requirements and Limitations

  • You must be a current faculty member to maintain access
  • You can install Microsoft 365 on up to 5 devices simultaneously
  • Your device should run MacOS, Windows 10, or Windows 11

 

Switching Accounts in Office 365 on Windows 11/10

For adjunct faculty who may have signed in with Reynolds account or have personal Microsoft accounts, here's how to switch to your @email.vccs.edu account in Office 365 on Windows:

  1. Open any Microsoft 365 app (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  2. Click on your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner
  3. Select "Sign out" to log out of your current account
  4. Choose "Add account" and enter your @email.vccs.edu email address
  5. Follow the prompts to sign in with your college credentials

Alternatively, you can switch between accounts without signing out:

  1. Click on your profile picture or initials
  2. Select "Switch account"
  3. Choose your @email.vccs.edu account from the list or add it if not present
