The college updates our operating schedule as needed based on weather conditions and other emergencies for the well-being of our entire college community. In the case of inclement weather, regardless of the decisions, all students and employees should use their own judgment to determine whether or not it is safe to travel. Please keep your supervisor informed.
Inclement Weather and other Emergencies Guidelines review the instructions and pay for each type of position designation. Inclement weather remote work is established to provide services that are mission-critical, time-sensitive, and/or to carry on meetings that have been set up virtually. We understand employees may have responsibilities that have arisen as a result of the inclement weather (childcare, shoveling, etc.) and supervisors will grant liberal leave. Liberal leave is the use of unplanned annual, personal leave, or leave without pay during severe weather. Please use your good judgment.
