Teams Mobile Notifications/Quiet Time Scheduling

On the Teams Mobile app, you can schedule times to not be notified. Since callers will be calling the user now, instead of the user's office, this could be especially helpful if you don't wish to see calls after hours or when you are on vacation/leave.

To schedule quiet time:

  • Tap your profile picture in the upper left of the Teams Mobile app.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  • Tap Notifications.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  • Tap Block during quiet hours.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  • Toggle on "Certain hours", select desired days of the week, and set your desired quiet hours' start/end times.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  • You can also set quiet hours by the day (ie: If you do not wish to be notified on the weekends).Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  • There is also an option to sync your quiet time settings to Outlook. This is not recommended at this time.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Do Not Disturb (DND) Presence status

At any time, if you set your "Presence" status to Do not disturb, all notifications will be silenced on all devices, and calls will be sent directly to voicemail.

To make this setting change, click your profile picture at the top of the Teams window, and click your status (typically Available) and change it to the Do not disturb option:
