Connect to GlobalProtect VPN

Step 1: Open the GlobalProtect Application 

  1. Search for the GlobalProtect app in the Windows search bar.

  2. Select the GlobalProtect application.

    • You will see a popup in the bottom-right corner of your screen requesting your VPCC username and password.

    • Above your username, verify that Portal: is set to tnccvpn.vccs.edu.

Step 2: Sign In 

  1. Enter your VPCC username (format: last name + first initial, e.g., smithj) and your password.

  2. Select Sign In.

  3. You may see “Still Working” for a short time — this is normal.

  4. Once connected, you may see a grey popup box with information; click the X in the upper-right corner to dismiss it.

  5. The application will now show Connected, indicating you are successfully connected to the VPN.

Disable the VPN Connection 

  1. Search for the GlobalProtect app in the Windows search bar.

  2. The application will appear in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

  3. Left-click the three horizontal lines (menu) and choose Disable.

  4. To reconnect after disabling, open the GlobalProtect application again and select Enable.
