Tech Tip # 64: New AI Tools

This week let's talk about a couple of cool AI tools. I wanted to bring your attention to a couple of areas.  For those that are willing to experiment.  Google now has an AI studio.  This has several apps hiding and allows you to build your own.  Most apps are free, but a few require payment such as VEO 3 video producer I encourage you to explore the gallery or use the start feature to develop your own app or chatbot.  Included in this are Image Analysis that pulls information from pictures and the NanoBanana image maker. I used this to make the Good Morning Gators at the top of the page and the banana pirate in the tech tip.  Using your email.vccs.edu account makes this fall under the contracts the VCCS has with Google and would fall into encouraged AI tools.

I also include Whispr Flow which is a voice-to-text AI which turns speech into clear, polished writing in every app.  It is available for Windows, Mac, and iPhone.  (Sorry Android.)  This is not for VPCC devices, but if you want to try it on your own devices, I have been impressed by what I've seen.
