This month’s theme is Love. Each tech tip will have a letter from the word LOVE. Hopefully, these tips will be something you LOVE as much as I do.. This week we start with one of my new favorites, NotebookLM. This FREE resource powered by Google Gemini is a great assist for faculty, staff, and students alike!
NotebookLM is a powerful AI tool that helps users understand complex information by allowing them to upload various source materials (documents, web pages, audio) into a notebook. The AI then synthesizes this information, providing features like summaries, outlines, and even audio overviews. Users can interact directly with the AI via a chat interface, posing questions and receiving answers grounded in the uploaded material, complete with inline citations. A premium version, NotebookLM Plus, offers enhanced features and usage limits. The platform facilitates collaboration and includes analytics for shared notebooks.

I downloaded the podcast for FREE from NotebookLM and then screen-recorded it being played on a site called Revid.ai so you’d have a visual to go along with the audio file. Revid.ai allows you to create AI videos from audio files in just minutes. It does cost, but it does allow for the creation of engaging content like that found on social media.
