Canvas Studio is a powerful multimedia tool within Canvas that enables instructors to create, edit, and share videos easily. With Studio, instructors can:
- record webcam and screencast videos directly in Canvas
- Create and manage a library of videos for use in Canvas (and to share outside of Canvas)
- Create discussion activities that are base on video
- Get data on student viewing of videos
- Add quiz questions into videos
- Provide feedback directly on specific moments in the video
- Videos can be automatically captioned, and captions can be edited easily
How to Access Studio
Canvas Studio can be access through your Global Navigation Menu, inside of a Canvas course navigation, and in the Rich Content Editor (used when you make a page, announcement, assignment, discussion or quiz). These Studio integrations allows instructors to seamlessly integrate media interaction into the classroom.
