Employees of the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) are provisioned with two accounts, a computing account provided by the individual college (PVCC), and a VCCS account. These two accounts allow access to different systems.
PVCC Accounts
New employees are provided with a PVCC account in the form of an email address, typically in the format of first initial + last name @pvcc.edu.
With their PVCC account, employees can:
VCCS Accounts
Employees are also provided with a VCCS account. The username will typically have the format of initials + random string of numbers.
If you are a current or former student of a VCCS institution, you may have already been provided with a VCCS account.
With a VCCS account, employees can:
- Access student-centered programs such as Canvas, SIS, and EAB Navigate
- Access Virginia state employee databases like HR and Cardinal (payroll)
- Sign in to Zoom (see: Signing Into Zoom )
All VCCS systems are accessed through the sign-in portal at my.vccs.edu
