The PressIT system allows a user to wirelessly project their laptop to a conference room display. When users are shown the simple steps to get it working, they should be able to use it without our assistance from that point forward.
There's no software required to use the PressIT, and it should work for Windows, MacOS and most tablets & smartphones. The PressIT will also transmit audio from the connected device.
There are four parts to each PressIT system:

To set up the receiver:
The receiver first needs to be connected to the conference room display. In most cases, this should already be completed by the Infrastructure team.
Next, you will need to make sure the conference room display is on the right HDMI input/source for the PressIT receiver. You will know it's on the right source when you see the standby screen which looks like this:

To connect a device:
In the storage case, there are two types of transmitters to connect devices. Either can be used depending on the ports available on the device.
For the HDMI/USB transmitter:
- Plug the HDMI into the port on the device. This transmitter also must be powered with the attached USB cable. Plug the USB into a port on the device.
For the USB-C transmitter:
- Plug into a USB-C port on the device.
To project the display:
Once connected, the LED light on the transmitter will change from a blinking red light to a solid white light.

Press the main button on the transmitter. The LED should become a solid green light, and the standby screen on the conference room display should show the screen of the connected device.

Multiple devices can have a transmitter connected. Each person can press the main button on the transmitter to switch to their device's display.
Advanced setup
Multi-connection mode:
The system can be used to show a split-screen of up to four displays. First, press and hold the side button (to the right of the main button) on a transmitter for a few seconds. The LED on the side button will become solid green. Each subsequent device can press the main button on their connected transmitter to add to the split-screen.
