Multi-Factor Authentication - SMS

Tags MFA ESL sms-mfa

What is multi-factor authentication?

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is a way to make your account more secure. When you log in, you use:

  1. Your password
  2. An extra step (like a code)

This extra step can be:

  • A text message (sms)
  • An email code
  • A code from an app

Why is MFA important?

It helps to protect your account, even if someone knows your password.
