This room is equipped with the technology listed below. Tap or click each header to see more information. 

Q-SYS Touch Panel

The technology in this room is controlled by the Q-SYS touch panel located on or near the lectern.

If the system is powered off, the PVCC logo will be displayed with the text (Touch Screen to Get Started).

Once powered on, the Main Menu is where most room features can be controlled. 

On the left and right hand sides you have buttons to control room audio. 

  • Video Volume controls are present with arrows to adjust volume. Tapping the speaker icon mutes the speakers. 
  • Ceiling Mic Mute buttons can selectively mute room mics. Either when unneeded or causing feedback in a conference/zoom

Video Selection controls what video is being sent to the projector. 

  • USB-C: Connect via HDMI.  See the section below on Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) for more information.
  • Wireless Video: Will allow the use of Mersive Solstice to wirelessly cast the display of a compatible device. See this article on Mersive Solstice  for more information. 
  • Room PC Video: Mirror display from podium computer

Camera Select provides simple camera selections controls. including Preset Buttons and a Privacy Button to hide the camera video.

  • Pan/Tilt features to adjust the direction and view of the camera using the arrow keypad. 
  • Zoom buttons to zoom in and out of view
  • Presets and 'Return to Home' Buttons to automatically adjust the camera 
  • Privacy Button to hide the camera video.

For Advanced Room Controls, view the following features. Select Advanced on the top right to view advanced menus.

Advanced Audio allows you to view and adjust individual levels for all inputs and outputs. 

  • The Speaker buttons can individually adjust the volumes up or down. 
  • Microphone buttons can mute or un-mute inputs.

Advanced Display settings allow you to adjust parts of the display that are not present from the main menu.

  • Projector power. Turn the projector on or off
  • Screen Control buttons to raise or lower the screen

Document Camera

The IPEVO Document Camera can be used to project images of documents and objects onto the screen(s) in the classroom. It is a modern version of an overhead projector. 

Use the power switch on the base of the camera to turn it on or off.

Open the Visualizer software on the classroom computer to see the camera feed. Turn on the projector and/or television screens to share this camera feed with the classroom.

Room Camera

The room camera is mounted to the ceiling and will show a video feed of the classroom. This can be used for video conferencing and lecture recordings. 

The camera is operated by a remote that may look like the one below.

After turning the camera on, change the camera view using the zoom & panning buttons.
