Special Event Technical Support


Overview

Virginia Western’s mission is to provide quality educational opportunities that empower students for success and strengthen communities.

Internal Campus Events are planned occasions that have a purpose to support the mission of the college.

The College does not rent any facilities and requires that facilities usage be internal and support the mission of the college.

The Media Geeks provide Audio Visual support for all special events on or off campus during the following hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30AM - 6:00PM
Friday: 7:30AM - 4:30PM
Weekend and evening support until 10PM is available by request with 30-day notice.

Please submit a Team Dynamix ticket for approval.


Features & Benefits

  • Dedicated technicians are available upon request.
  • Events falling outside normal Media Geek support hours must be approved at least 30 days in advance.
  • We strongly recommend a technology consultation to determine if a dedicated technician is required.
