Virginia Education Wizard
Overview
The Virginia Education Wizard empowers users to explore their potential, set goals, and navigate their educational and career paths. Through comprehensive career assessments, personalized advice, and step-by-step planning tools, the Wizard guides individuals toward their next steps. Established in 2009 and continuously improved, the Wizard underwent its latest upgrade in January 2016.
The Wizard is accessible to all, including the public, and users can log in with their My VCCS credentials or create an account using the register link. Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) students receive login credentials from their counselors for seamless access.

- VDOE K-12 counselors can manage student accounts and track Academic Career Plans.

- Student accounts remain accessible even after transferring, even if transferring to a school, district, or state not using the Wizard.

- View and print resumes, Academic and Career Plans, and Career Portfolios.

- The Wizard focuses on individual student needs.
Integrations
- The Wizard integrates with Student Information System (SIS) for VCCS users and data provision to counselors.
- Upcoming Clever integration offers single sign-on and course integration for middle and high schools.
