How to reset your Virginia Western password for your computer/virtual/email account if you are a faculty/staff member.

If you are a Faculty/Staff employee at Virginia Western and need to change your domain password there are several ways to do that on campus or remotely. This account is used to login to a computer, your virtual, and your email. Recent changes to password security requires a minimum length of at least 14 characters, just like our MyVWCC account passwords.

  1. On campus: If you are logged into a workstation on campus, simply hit Ctrl-Alt-Del on your keyboard and you will see the option to change your password there.
  2. Within your virtual: If you are working remotely, you can drag your mouse to the top of your screen and you should see a white menu drop down. You can click on the "Ctrl-Alt-Del" option there and select Change Password the same way you would if you were on campus.
  3. From email: If you are logged into your Virginia Western email you click click on your profile in the upper-right, click View Account, then Password tile. You can find detailed instructions at the Microsoft link HERE
