Overview
Students, Faculty, and Staff will use their MyVWCC credentials to access the VWCCWiFi network when on campus.
Details
If you need to connect a device (mobile phone, laptop, tablet, etc.) you will use the same credentials for accessing your SIS or Canvas account. In some instances you may be required to make slight modifications in order to get it setup correctly.
Here are some general connection tips:
- Identity: This will be your MyVWCC username and should be the same credential used to access Canvas/SIS.
- EAP Method: If it does not automatically select this it should be PEAP.
- Phase 2 Authentication: If it does not automatically select this is should be MSCHAPV2.
- For Certificates you can either select Use System Certificates if it will allow that choice or Do Not Validate.
- If the Domain field is required you should enter virginiawestern.edu.
- If you see an Anonymous field you can re-enter your MyVWCC username (the same used in the Identity field at the start).
