Overview
Most personal information can be updated in SIS by the user themselves, but to change the name or social on the account they will need to speak to Records.
Details
If they are on campus the user can complete a Notification of Change form (see below) and take it to the Records office in C107.
Notification of Change Form
This is the email Records sends to students when they request a change:
"In order to do a name change in our system, You will need to send either a clear copy of your driver's license OR a clear copy of your marriage certificate OR a clear copy of the court decree of your name change. You have a few choices of delivery: (1) you can scan and email a clear copy to me, (2) you can take a clear picture and upload it to me in an email or (3) you can make a copy and mail it to our office. Please make sure to include your VWCC Student ID number & your name on anything you send. I hope one of these will work for you."
