As of September 2026, retention of Zoom cloud storage is 275 days. Zoom cloud recordings are now deleted automatically 275 days after their recording date, down from the previous 365 day retention.
Recordings that have been moved to the trash can be accessed by selecting 'Recordings & Transcripts' from the left-side menu.
From the recordings page, select 'Trash' from the top menu.
Media files can be downloaded locally and then uploaded to Canvas Studio. Instructure/Canvas provides detailed instructions on How to Upload Media Files to a Studio Account on their website.
