Easiest Method: Should Work For Most Devices 

In the Wi-Fi network settings of your device, select the Eduroam network. 

If you are using a Windows or iOS / MacOS device:
  • Enter MyMECC email e.g. username@email.vccs.edu for the network username
  • Enter MyMECC password for the network password
If you are using an Android device:
  • EAP Method: PEAP
  • Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPv2.
  • CA Certificate: Use System Certificates
  • Domain: (Use one of the following below)
    • vccs.edu
    • radius.vccs.edu
  • Identity: MyMECC Email e.g. username@email.vccs.edu
  • Clear the Anonymous identity text box so that it is empty
  • Password: MyMECC password

Connect and accept the certificate if prompted. 

For Chromebook Devices
For Linux Devices

Troubleshooting

  • In the Wi-Fi settings of your device, 'Forget' the Eduroam network then try the setup again. 
  • Make sure you are using your correct MyMECC credentials, including your MyMECC email (username@email.vccs.edu) and password.
