How To Add An MFA FIDO Key

1. Login to MyMECC

• From a PC visit MyMECC. On the portal you will be presented with the login screens as usual.
• Enter your MyMECC username and click “Go”
• Then enter your password

2. Update Profile

• On the upper right of the portal select your name and then select “Profile Settings”​​​​​​​
• A window will pop up on the right of the screen. Select “edit profile” button on the lower right

3. OPT-IN MFA FIDO (Most Secure - Only Select if you have a Physical Key)

• Select the option “OPT-IN MFA FIDO”​​​​​​​
• Click Save
• On the upper right of the portal, select your name and then select “Logout”​​​​​​​

4. Log Back Into MyMECC

• From a PC, log back into MyMECC​​​​​​​
• You will be presented with the screen below, please click “OK”.

5. Insert FIDO Key into USB port

• Insert FIDO key into the USB port of the machine you are logging in from as indicated by the image below:​​​​​​​

6. Press the button on the FIDO Key

• You will then be prompted to press the button on the FIDO key as indicated by the image below. After pressing button, you will be logged directly into MyMECC:​​​​​​​

7. Setup complete

• . Setup of the FIDO key is now complete. You must insert the FIDO key into a USB port of the machine from which you are logging in from for each new log.​​​​​​​
