Locate fire extinguisher. Ensure fire extinquisher is in its proper location.
1-Make sure fire extinguisher is accessible.
2-Ensure inspection tag is attached.
3-Operating instructions and nameplate facing outward.
4-Safety seals and tamper indicators are not broken or missing.
5-Visually inspect for physical damage, corrosion, leakage or clogged nozzle
6-Pressure gage reading or indicator in the operable range or position.
If fire extinguisher is deficient: Remove the fire extinguisher from service and replace with an operational unit.
