Step 1: Download the eduroam Tool

Open your web browser and go to cat.eduroam.org.

Click the large blue button labeled "Click here to download your eduroam® installer".
Step 2: Find Your Organization

In the search box, type Virginia Community College System.
💡 Note: You may need to type out the full name before it appears in the list.

Click on Virginia Community College System when it appears.
Step 3: Download the macOS Profile

The tool will automatically detect that you are on a Mac. Click the blue eduroam button to start downloading the setup file.

If prompted, save the file to your Downloads folder.
Step 4: Open and Install the File

Open your Downloads folder (or the location where you saved the file) and double-click the downloaded file.

Open your Mac’s System Settings app.

Navigate to Privacy & Security > Profiles (near the bottom of the menu).
Step 5: Complete Setup & Sign In

Double-click the downloaded eduroam profile to launch the installer.

Follow the on-screen prompts to proceed with the installation.

When prompted for credentials, enter your myVCCS login details:

Username: Your full VCCS email address (e.g., username@email.vccs.edu)

Password: Your myVCCS password

Click Install to finish.
🎉 You're all set! Your Mac is now configured for eduroam and will automatically connect to the network whenever you are within range on campus.
