Eduroam – CAT Instructions – MacOS
Open a browser window and navigate to https://cat.eduroam.org . Click the blue button to download the Eduroam installer.
Search for and select Virginia Community College System (Note you may need to type the entire name in before you see it)
The tool will automatically detect your device type and OS. Click the blue “eduroam” box to download the installer for Apple MacOS.
When prompted, save the file to a location on your laptop.
Navigate to the file and double-click to run.
The tool will install a profile on your device. Open the Settings app and navigate to Privacy & Security > Profiles
Double-click the downloaded eduroam profile to run it.
Follow the prompts to install the profile…
Enter your myVCCS username and password. Be sure to include “@email.vccs.edu”
The profile will be installed….
Eduroam is now configured to connect with your username and password, and should automatically connect whenever in range.
