Purchase Discounted Computer and Software Through an Academic Discount

This article outlines how faculty and staff can purchase and install computers and certain academic software at a discount.

Key Points:

• Currently employed Reynolds faculty and staff can purchase computer and software titles from various retailers (e.g., Apple, Best Buy) using an academic discount.  Retired and separated faculty and staff may be able to take advantage of this perk depending on the retailer's requirements.
   
• Retailers may require proof of employment such as submitting a valid school email address or a copy of a college photo ID card.
   
• Any purchase made to the retailer does not involve Reynolds Community College nor the Virginia Community College System (VCCS), so we are unable to assist with any transaction-related issues.
