Accessing the Commonwealth of Virginia Learning Center (COVLC)

Key Points:

• New state employees will have their Commonwealth of Virginia Learning Center (COVLC) accounts created by our portal administrator -- generally within 30 days of being hired.
   
• Courses within the COVLC count toward the college's annual 20-hour professional development requirement (as stated on their Employee Work Profile document).

Instructions:

To access the COVLC, go to https://covlc.virginia.gov/Default.aspx and then follow the steps below.

1. Click Accept to agree to terms of use for the website.
   
   
    
2. Enter your login ID and password, then click Log In.
   
   
    

• If you do not know what your login ID is, click on [Forgot your] login ID.
   
• If you do not know what your password is, click on [Forgot your] password.
