Laurel Ridge Update about Classified Staff Performance Evaluation Process

Body

Classified staff colleagues,

It's time to begin the annual performance evaluation process for Classified employees.

Performance management is more than just an annual evaluation.  It is a reflection of our shared commitment to the values that define our college community.  As we begin the performance evaluation process, it's important to recognize how this effort supports and reinforces the principles we strive to uphold every day.

  • Learning: Through feedback and reflection, we identify opportunities for growth and improvement, encouraging creative solutions and continuous learning.

  • High Performance: By setting clear goals and expectations, we empower employees to pursue high standards in their work and contribute meaningfully to the college’s mission.

  • Integrity: Transparent and consistent evaluations foster trust and accountability, ensuring that performance is assessed fairly and respectfully.

  • Positive Spirit: The process encourages open dialogue between employees and supervisors, strengthening relationships and promoting teamwork across departments.

  • Diversity: Ultimately, every role at the college supports our students. Performance management helps align individual contributions with institutional goals, ensuring we remain focused on delivering exceptional service and support.

As we move through the evaluation cycle, we invite you to view this process as an opportunity to celebrate achievements, identify development needs, and align your work with the values that make our college a vibrant and impactful place to learn and grow.
