Laurel Ridge HR Update: A Positive, Caring, and Dynamic Learning Environment

 

Our mission is to provide a positive, caring, and dynamic learning environment that inspires student success, values diversity, and promotes community vitality.

As we welcome the new academic year, it is a time to celebrate and strengthen our college culture—a positive, caring, and dynamic environment for learning and work.  As employees of the college community, we share the responsibility for:

  • Conducting ourselves in a manner that cultivates mutual respectinclusion, and a healthy environment at all times.

  • Readingunderstanding, and practicing the policies of the Department of Human Resources Management (DHRM), Virginia Community College System (VCCS), and Laurel Ridge Community College.  Our repository on the Employee Portal provides links to the policies. Please ensure you are familiar with policies such as DHRM Policy 2.35 Civility in the Workplace and VCCS Policy 3.14. General Policies - Familial and Consensual Relations, Workplace Violence prevention, etc.

  • Reporting and addressing prohibited conduct through See Something, Say Something.
