The platform will prompt you to either link to your current LinkedIn profile or to create one. This is NOT required, but doing so does provide more features. For example, using your title and skills from your LinkedIn profile, the platform will display training most relevant to you.
The platform is self-directed and intuitive. Think of it like a YouTube or Netflix but for learning! Simply enter topics in the search bar, and a library of content will pop up. HR is often asked for the below training topics, which are all available within the Linked In Learning Platform:
- Microsoft Suite: Teams, Excel, Word, 365
- Manager Resources: Difficult Conversations, Five great questions to ask in one-on-ones, Skills for first 90 days as a new manager, Delivering Employee Feedback, Courageous Leadership
- Using AI (Artificial Intelligence) for productivity
Under this pilot program, Laurel Ridge employees will be able to access LinkedIn Learning through December of 2024. Please check out the platform today and embark on a journey of continuous learning and professional growth!
Extending a special thank you to Cory Thompson and Mary Ong for your expertise in procuring this wonderful opportunity on a pilot basis!
