- Sick Leave (full-time classified employees: see Virginia Sickness and Disability Program Policy, DHRM Policy 4.57) (full-time faculty and administrators: see VCCS Policy 3.9, Faculty Leave)
- Family & Personal Leave (for employees enrolled in VSDP through VRS, see Virginia Sickness and Disability Program Policy, DHRM Policy 4.57)
- Leave to Donate Bone Marrow or Organs (see DHRM Policy 4.37)
