New: Terminology for the Classified and Wage Staff Performance Process

DHRM Policy 1.40 Performance Management updates terminology for performance ratings and the job description (formerly known as EWP).  The following outlines the language that has changed as a result of the policy update.

Employee Work Profile --> Position Description

Performance ratings continue to be on a five-point scale:

•Fails to meet performance expectations --> Unsuccessful

•Needs improvement --> Partially Successful

•Meets performance expectations --> Successful

•Exceeds performance expectations -->  Highly Successful

•Far exceeds performance expectations --> Extraordinary
