We have updated classrooms to support distance learning. Classrooms now have speakers, cameras (one facing the teacher’s station and one facing students), and a microphone. Teacher’s stations can now switch control of all IT equipment to laptops by connecting two blue cables (HDMI and USB). This guide will teach you how to connect a laptop and revert back to the teacher’s station.
If Both BLUE Cables are unplugged, then Teacher Computer will be in control of all IT equipment and the projector.

If you plug the BLUE HDMI cable into the laptop, then the LAPTOP will display onto the PROJECTOR. If only the HDMI cable is plugged in, the teacher’s station will control all other IT equipment. Check the end of the cable to determine which type of cable it is. An HDMI cable looks like this:

If you plug in the BLUE USB Cable, then ALL IT Equipment, except the projector, switches to LAPTOP. This includes sound, microphone, mouse and keyboard, document cameras, etc.
A USB cable looks like this:

To revert to teacher station computer simply, UNPLUG BOTH Cables and the system will switch back to teacher station. Allow 30 seconds for the change to happen.
NOTE: If Laptop is plugged in via the Blue Cables, then the Teacher Station computer LOSES connection to the projector and IT equipment until disconnection of the cables.
If any issues occur, please DO NOT touch IT equipment,
