Asset Update Form

This form can be used to update the following information:

  • Updating any attributes of an asset such as the Make, Model, or Serial Number
  • Updating the physical location of an asset (i.e. asset is relocating from SHP 123 to Hazel 300)
  • Updating the responsible department code of an asset (i.e. asset is transferring from Biology to Chemistry department)

 

  1. Log on to MyLaurelRidge using your VCCS username and password. Under My Applications, select the Laurel Ridge Help Desk widget.

  1. A new tab will open with the Self-Service Portal. Under Services & Tickets, select Asset Management.

  1. The Service Catalog for Assets will appear.

  1. Under Services, select Asset Request, then Submit Asset Update.

  1. Complete the information on the form and ensure the “Notify Contact(s) box is checked.

  1. Click on the link to download the manifest template. Instructions on how to complete the manifest can be found here. Select Asset Update Manifest in the Attachments on the right.

  1. The Asset Update Manifest template will be downloaded to your computer. Populate the spreadsheet and copy and paste this to textbox under “Copy and Paste Manifest Here”.

  1. Once all the information is completed, click Submit. Your supervisor will receive an email from notify@teamdynamixapp.com to review and approve this request. Approvals or denials can be submitted by replying directly to the email or accessing the TDNext Ticket link.
