Please note:  The college provides up to 33% of VSDP sick leave for FMLA-eligible dependents.  The module describes compensatory leave but the college does not utilize this leave category.  The college chooses to pay employees in non-exempt positions for their overtime to avoid the liability of future leave.  Supervisors may choose to request a reward and recognition (bonus or recognition leave) for staff in exempt positions in place of compensatory leave.
