We are pleased to share that Item 469 paragraph R, Chapter 1, 2026 Acts of Assembly, Special Session 1 authorizes a three and a half percent salary increase for eligible full- and part-time classified and other salaried state employees, including appointed, at-will, and faculty employees. Adjunct Faculty employees at two- and four-year colleges and universities are also eligible for the three and a half percent salary increase.
All Classified staff and 12-month Faculty (Administrative and Teaching) hired by April 25, 2026 and remain employed on July 25, 2026 are eligible for the state wide 3.5% salary increase. The increase will be reflected in the August 14, 2026 pay check.
All employees in wage positions as of April 25, 2026 and remain employed on July 25, 2026 are eligible for the state wide 3.5% salary increase. This increase will be effective August 7, 2026 and will be paid on the check date September 4, 2026.
For 9-month faculty hired by April 25, 2026, the 3.5% increase will be effective on August 16, 2026 and will be included on the September 1, 2026 pay check.
All employees in adjunct faculty positions as of April 25, 2026 and remain employed on July 25, 2026 are eligible for the state wide 3.5% salary increase. This increase will be effective August 1, 2026 and will be seen on their first pay date in the fall semester.
