How to create an SIS calendar link on a college ticketing portal or other websites.
Description
VCCS generates an iCal export of academic calendar data maintained in SIS. That iCal export is then made available as the public SIS Google Calendar. This approach facilitates embedding the calendar in various formats and in various locations, as well as the ability for people to subscribe to it.
In addition to the global calendar, individual college iCal exports are being generated as of March 2024. These are not yet made available as a Google Calendar, but could be, and that is also an option for colleges to do themselves.
